Our Horses
Just completed our horse barn
and fenced in their pasture. Here
are some pics of the construction.
We are so pleased with the job
done. Went up very quickly! The
guys were amazing! Thank you
Terry Schmidt and Steve! You guys
are incredible!
This is what the barn looked
like before
it was worked on................
Day 2 - they had
pulled down one
wall of the barn, and
had
stalls up with
removeable walls in
between
This is a view of the front of the
stalls
from inside the barn. The horses
enter from outside, where we feed
them from the inside.
The rest of the barn (about 1/2) will
be for hay, feed, tack room
Day 1 of fencing,
all the posts are
up

NOW.........The
Goat Area
DAY1: Posts are going up. It will be
"L"shaped. We have it situated
between the horses and dogs to
deter coyotes and other predators,
and close to the house. The first pic
is the short part of the "L" which
comes up close to the deck. This is
where they will be at night.
This section of the long part of the
"L" will be for grazing in the
daytime......
40' Wide x 60' in length
We are going to attempt goat farming.
We want to have a small herd of mini-nubians, for their goats
milk.. They are nice and small with the cutest floppy ears, but
produce quite a bit of milk despite their size! We have
located a breeder in Kansas City, MO
